Abstract

Biproporcional matrix estimation methods in general, are of great interest to researchers in the topic because of the need to record with indirect estimation models which allow to obtain a reliable approach in comparison to the results obtained from models direct. The more traditional indirect methods in use and time of validity inside flush which, however at the present time, he points out as restrictive to other alternatives such as entropy crusade, squares and others. For this reason, this article performs an analysis of the results of applying RAS (proposed by Bacharach) and it demystifies any restrictions on RAS to more contemporary alternative methods; thus constituting a fully valid adjustment model.
