Abstract

This article discusses one of the problems of the Ivorian press. It is the corruption manifested by the reception of brown envelopes by some journalists before writing their articles.
The author tries to describe the process of distribution of these envelopes, and all the professional paradoxes and ethical problem.
He describes also the vocabulary of the corruption in Côte d’Ivoire news room.
Theses descriptions are based on the interaction sociology of Erving Goffman, the interaction ritual and the frame analysis on the organization of experience.
