Abstract

Intergenerational household and Well-being of the Elderly has been identified as an important determinant in the lives of older people in Ojo Local Government Area. Intergeneration refers to the comparison between generations. This study aims at explaining and identifying the various ways by which the care given to the Elderly in our society can be improved on. The study employed the use of questionnaire method to achieve its aim and objectives. A total of 250 questionnaires were administered to various respondents within the study area. The study then adopted the use of Chi- Square statistical method to test the strength of the relationship between the identified variables in the hypotheses. The study suggests that an improvement in Elderly care within each household will help improve the living conditions of the Elderly in Ojo Local Government area of Lagos State.
